She analyzed national security threats as well as conducted confidential inquiries into suspect foreign agents. Asha's experience in the FBI included electronic surveillance, interviewing and interrogating techniques, guns as well as deadly forces. Asha is a graduate of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and has been awarded a Fulbright to study constitution change in Bogota. She graduated with a law qualification at Yale Law School where she was an Coker Fellow with a focus on Constitutional Law and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Juan R. Torruella on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in San Juan Puerto Rico. She has been admitted to the State Bar of New York (2003) and Connecticut (2003). Asha's op eds have appeared in The New York Times The Wall Street Journal The Washington Post and other magazines. Asha is also a legal commentator for ABC News. Asha is a member of the Just Security board of editors and also serves as an Council of Foreign Relations Member.
