Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her performances in Nashville in the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she played Claudia Shepard. Also, she portrayed the lead part of Jerrica Jem Betnton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised on Lake Mary Florida. She also has an older sister, Ally. As a child, Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to allow her in for another entry since she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples played a role as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She appeared on television in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She had a major part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the most skilled actors who are under the age of 20 in September 2014.
